A NOTE ON THE PROCESS

This project represents a personal and professional evolution. With this release, I have fully stepped into the roles of Composer, Songwriter and Producer, moving beyond my roots in hip-hop to define a new sound as an experimental vocalist and sound-designer.

As an avid reader, inspired by the Romantic Fantasy (Romantasy) literary genre, I developed these original compositions with that sensibility in mind. I wanted to reflect the lived experience of love, heartbreak, and healing while immersing the listener in my own rendition of the lush, world-building narratives I am drawn to.

To bring this vision to life, I collaborated with a global team who understood my goals. I worked closely with Mark Crozer to refine the production and engineering while expanding the album with live instrumentation, and with legendary mastering engineer Tim Turan in the UK to finalize the sound.

The visual identity of this first release (standard edition) was captured through the lens of Bob Krasner, whose photo-documentary serves as the external window into the Museum. To complete the collection in 2026, a Deluxe Edition will follow moving from the lens to the canvas, exploring the Museum’s inner world through paint and mixed media, while expanding the sonic landscape with the instrumentals.

What started as a private exploration in 2021 was later fueled by the Franklin Furnace FUND (2022) and the NYFA/Queens Art Fund (2023), eventually culminating in my year-long artist residency at Culture Lab LIC in 2024. After four years of development, the music is finally ready to have a public life of its own. This is no longer just my story; it is a mirror for anyone who has loved, lost, and found the strength to begin again. I hope you find a piece of yourself in these sounds.

The album arrives 12.31.2025.
